“On Christmas Eve, if you sleep with kismet cookies under your pillow and dream of your own true love, he will be your destiny.”

It’s Christmas time at the Horny Toad Tavern, located in the heart of Twilight, TX. Elvis is on the jukebox, the lights twinkle outside…and inside, Raylene Pringle is wondering if it’s going to be another “Blue Christmas” without her true love, Earl.

But things are about to change—because ‘tis the season for unexpected romance and a surprise mother/daughter reunion…reminding Raylene that you should never disbelieve the legend of the kismet cookies!

And don’t miss The Christmas Cookie Chronicles: Christine available December 13th, from Avon Impulse and The Christmas Cookie Chronicles: Carrie on sale now.

This was a quick read but I am finding myself at lost here because
This story mostly focuses on Raylene daughter and her romance with Nate. So this left Raylene and Earl romance the back drop and that left me disappointed because this was to be their story not about the daughter finding someone. I also thought Shannon took to her mother too quickly. I know I am being picky but I wanted this novella to be about Raylene finding her daughter and love again with Earl, not the way this went down. Heck Raylene doesn’t even see Earl face to face until the end of the book….

If you want to know about Shannon and coming to find her mother and someone to love, well this is for you. Just don’t expect for Raylene and Earl heating up these pages because they don’t.
