Lucy in the Sky by Barbara Elsborg

Title: Lucy in the Sky
Author: Barbara Elsborg
Source: Self purchase
Genre: Sci/Fi/Romance/Erotic
Length: Novel

When you find a spaceship in your backyard, what do you do? Choose from three:
Phone the police.
Go yell at the alien for wrecking your garden.

Lucy confronts the inept pilot and the last option turns out to be both the right and wrong choice. She’s torn between fury that gorgeous alien hunk Three has decapitated her statue of Eros, and a longing that he enliven her boring life and whisk her to the stars. Three doesn’t give her a choice when he throws her over his shoulder and takes her into space. Lucy soon finds herself exploring alien territory in ways she never imagined.

Three’s efforts to hide and protect her on the mother ship are stymied by his inability to keep his hands off the luscious Lucy. But Three and Lucy are being observed. Three’s friend Hyll has been in unrequited lust with Three for years. And he wants what Lucy’s getting. When lust turns to love, it comes from a most unexpected quarter.

After reading, and loving Elsborg's Power of Love I had to see what else she had out there. I found Lucy in the Sky and the blurb seemed right up my ally. Unfortunately I was a bit let down.  There wasn't enough background information about the alien culture that Lucy was introduced to, and Three's character seemed underdeveloped.  The ramblings of Lucy were hilarious and the sex scenes were pretty darn hot, but I was expecting more.  If you're looking for a book to make you giggle and get you hot without a whole lot of plot this is for you.  I have days when I'm looking for books like this, but I guess yesterday just wasn't one of them.

Disclaimer: There are M/M scenes.
