Deacon is a hard-nosed demon slayer who loves his solitude and doesn’t do well with taking orders. He’s a mammoth of a man, endowed by the gods and goddesses with strength, immortality and stunning good looks. Now he’s charged to send an incubus who almost killed him back to hell.

Violet is a career woman who is smart and funny, who has friends but no true love...other than her romance novels. She hates her size fourteen jeans and the sight of herself in the mirror makes her cringe. After a night of drinking with her best friend and a love spell gone awry, she finds herself mixed up with evil.

Who will triumph? Who will have Violet's soul?

Deacon is a hard-ass demon slayer that doesn't let anything interfere with getting the job done.  Violet is an insecure woman who dreams of finding her one true love.  When a incubus seems to fulfill her every desire Deacon is sent to destroy the demon, but Violet may not want to be saved.  She will have to choose between an incubus, able to read and fulfill her every desire, and Deacon, a real man with real issues that will do anything to have her.

I really enjoyed watching Deacon and Violet meet each other.  Their initial verbal exchange was so much fun to read.  Even though their characters are totally different - they seemed to mesh so well.  Things moved a little quickly and both were very accepting of such strange circumstances - but everything was finished off perfectly at the end.

Allison was kind enough to offer 5 eBook copies of Aphrodite's Gift.  Enter below on the Rafflecopter form.  Good luck!

  1. I haven't really thought about it much but, yes.

  2. I don't know. I love reading stories about them.

  3. No, but I enjoy reading about couples who are.

  4. I do - I don't think anyone other than my husband would put up with me.

  5. I'd like to think that they exist and that mine it out there waiting to find me.

  6. I most definitely believe in soul mates. My hubby and I 'met' when we were 5 years old. We went 13 years without seeing each other or knowing the other existed. I was going to college and got a part-time job at the local grocery store out of high school, and he just happened to work there. There was an instant attraction and his name sounded familiar but I had no idea who he was. Turned out that our dads had been in the navy together and, though they'd not seen each other in years, were good friends when we were little.

We finish each other's sentences, read each other's minds and just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary.

  7. I'd like to believe in soul mates! I do think we get reincarnated and so we can get our second, third, or how many chances that we miss or doesn't go right in our current life.
