Sometimes everything has to go wrong so fate can make it right.

Valentina Farro is used to being the hunter, not the hunted, but when a vampire marks her for death, everything changes. Now one of Paladin’s fiercest warriors is fighting for her life and the lives of her Paladin family.

It should have just been another assignment, but nothing goes according to plan when the vampire Aedan Doyle is hunting leads him around the world and into Valentina’s life. Determined to keep Val safe from the vampire’s vengeance, Aedan appoints himself as Val’s personal bodyguard. Then he makes sure he’s guarding her beautiful body up close and personal, every chance he gets.

As the body count rises, Valentina and Aedan’s new bond is tested to the breaking point. Trusting each other with their lives is one thing, but can two solitary warriors find the courage to trust each other with their hearts?

WOW! Loved it!! Loved it!! Loved it!!
I thought no one could top Jason, but  I was surely mistaken. Aedan is my new favorite lol. Though technically he is not officially Paladin so Jason is my number one Paladin man so far, and Aedon my number one Brethren. I love how the Brethren is featured in this story. (If you don't know who the Brethren are you must read Whispers in the Dark, another great read from Susan hayes). Vampires are my number one supes but when the hunters are this awesome, I don't mind if they are the villian sometimes, lol.
Having your friends picked off one by one and being hunted by a crazy vampire bent on revenge can be pretty terrifying, but Valentina is definitely kick a** and has an amazing guard and friends to help her.
Great read! Highly recommend it.

  1. Oh wow! That does sound like a book for me. When will it be released? I have put this on my TBR list.

  2. Emi, thanks so much for the wonderful review! I'm so glad you loved Aedan as much as I did.

Mary Frances, Guarding Valentina is available at Siren-Bookstrand publishing right now, and will be joining the rest of the Paladin Protection Agency series on Amazon in 2-3 weeks.

  3. Gotta love the vampire books. This sounds like a great read, thanks for the review.
