Book two in the League of Illusion

London, 1851

With his brother Sebastian missing, illusionist Rhys Davenport is running out of time and leads. He knows only that Sebastian disappeared into Stonehenge and that an incomplete map is the key to finding him. And that the missing piece is in the possession of the unnervingly attractive psychic Corina Stratton.

Corina has no intention of giving her part of the map to the haughty Rhys Davenport. In fact, she needs to steal his half so she can heal her mother's malevolent spirit. She heads to London, only to be chased by a revengeful sorcerer right into Rhys's arms. Although touched by Rhys's plight, she agrees to go on his crazy quest only to get an opportunity to take what she came for.

With an airship full of fanatic elves after them, Rhys and Corina are forced into close quarters as they search for a portal. But to open it in time to find Sebastian, they must reconcile their differences and their growing feelings, or he'll be lost to them forever...

I picked the first in this series, Legacy, because of the cover. I fell in love with it, and what was between the covers.
Usually when people talk about sequels they balk at them. Prophecy TOPPED Legacy in my opinion.
I already knew the Rhy's could be the hard headed brother of the pack that had a hard time accepting his talents from the first book. Thankfully nothing changed in this book that focuses on him. You learn why he is the way he is and a little more of what they quest to save the lost brother Sebastian consists of.
Corina's character is strong and honest. She adds humor relief  to the stressful story line with her ghostly mother pushing her on to find her way in life, mystism , and of course the art of suduction.
My only concern was that I wish it was a full novel series. I feel as though these characters could be made into ones we fall in love with over and over again if given the chance. But I have fallen in love with this series!
