About the Author
Another great installment for the Species Series! J. K. Accinni does a wonderful job portraying the world she has envisioned for this series. In Baby's book there was a character, that I wanted to reach into the book myself to set him straight, and Armoni and his trio of crazies made me want to do the same in this book. When an author can make you feel that deeply, whether its a like or dislike about a character, you know that they are very talented and have accomplished what they set out to do. Tho this series is sci-fi, there is also some touching moments in it, that in my opinion even out some of the craziness of I and make it that much better. I mean craziness in a good way lol. Great series so far, now off to read the next on, Armageddon Cometh.
Next in the series is Armageddon Cometh:
I loved it! Armageddon Cometh was an incredible third installment in the Species Intervention #6609 series. I'm a bit confused as to what causes the actual collapse of humanity, the Salafis or The Womb. But I guess that is what the mastermind that is J. K. Accinni was aiming for as she wrote this book. I cannot wait to read The Hive to see how it all pans out! This is an amazing series.
Nest in the series is The Hive:
What a great read! The Hive was another great installment in the Species intervention series. I have to admit I'm not big on sci-fi or alien type novels or movies but this series has definitely changed my opinion of the genre. I cannot wait to see what happens next. I'm rooting for Lorna big time! In every book there has been a character that I seriously despise, and Seth is that one for me in the Hive. So hopefully in The One, he gets what's coming to him, lol.
My overall review of the series, is that it's crazy amazing! J.K. Accini creates a world full of craziness (craziness in an interesting way), but the love between the main characters and their little creatures is the light in the darkness of this series.
In the first book, Baby, I was so happy for Wil and Netty, their love for each other, and Baby was profound, they were each other's salvation, but the cruelness of humanity destroyted it. In the following books, she depicts an ugly world set in the future, but Jose, Abby, and Scotty along with Echo are the saviors not only for each other but of a slected few that are taken along on their journey to save the animals and create a world of love and respect for each other and the wildlife around them.
Great series, a must read!
